My passion for Psychology began at an early age. The need to understand how and why our minds work the way they do, behaviors, and emotions is what led me to study Psychology. As a little girl I understood that this earth belongs to children and their children because they’re the future. My name is Yllen Amaya. My educational background includes a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice, an Associates in Arts degree in Psychology. I am currently attaining my RBT as well as taking classes towards my BCaBA. I’ve had the privilege of working with children in the Head Start/Early Head Start program as a Case Manager and Parent Trainer in aiding their cognitive skills. My passion in helping children with special needs exceeds any and all obstacles. I know that no single approach or modality is the correct one for everyone, which is why I chose to pursue my educational career in this field. Working with Puzzle Builders assures me I can make rewarding changes in the lives of children and help them reach their highest potential.
