Mirella Benavides, MS, BCBA
Mirella has a Master in Science in Developmental Disabilities from Nova Southeastern University with a concentration in Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis. She has over 10 years of experience working with children and 4 years with the special needs population conducting ABA services but gets a large portion of her experience from raising her own child who is on the autism spectrum. She has provided center based services as well as services at the client’s home, schools and other community settings. She has experience in class management skills and provided parent trainings. Mirella is an active member of autism advocacy groups and is passionate about helping families manage their children’s diagnosis. Her goal is to help all her clients reach their full potential by fostering independence and giving them the tools necessary to be integrals parts of their community.
