Available Positions

Non-Certified Therapist (NCT) & Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

In your position as a Non-Certified Line Therapist you will be working closely with other staff including RBTs, BCaBAs, BCBAs and fellow NCTs. You will work directly with clients and their family members providing Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy services. You will be closely supervised by BCaBAs and BCBAs. We offer BACB supervision hours for all levels of certification. We also offer opportunities for growth within our organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement skill acquisition and problem behavior reduction programs individually targeted for each client in direct 1:1 therapy as outlined by BCaBA or BCBA
  • Identify client needs and address concerns voiced by caregivers and/or client.
  • Measure client performance by taking data and notes daily.
  • Follow ethical and legal standards set forth by BACB.
  • Conduct therapy sessions in the client’s homes, schools, and out in the community, as needed and required by each client.
  • Administer Preference Assessments & other similar assessments as required.
  • Maintain all professional certifications, documents, and identifiers up-to-date & on-file to maintain good standing with PBBT.
  • Adhere to all Puzzle Builders, LLC company policy.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimal of high-school degree or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Be legally able to work in the United States.
  • Some courses in ABA or psychology highly preferred.
  • Experience working with children (preferred) and/or with special needs children (highly preferred).
  • Knowledge of basic computing skills.
  • Must have great time management skills and can work independently.
  • Attend PBBT events including trainings, meetings, etc.
  • Be able to work in the afternoon/evenings (3pm-8pm) & some weekends.
  • Reliable transportation and willing to travel (20-30 miles).
  • Minimal three 3-month commitment.

Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCABA) & Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

In your position as a BCaBA/BCBA you will be working closely with other staff including BCaBAs, BCBAs, RBTs and NCTs. You will work directly with clients & their families providing ABA therapy services as well as supervising cases depending on your experience. You will be supervised by BCBAs and we offer BACB supervision hours for BCaBAs. We also offer opportunities for growth within our organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement skill acquisition and problem behavior reduction programs individually targeted for each client in direct 1:1 therapy as outlined by BCBA or case manager.
  • Identify client’s needs and address concerns voiced by caregivers and/or client.
  • Measure performance of client using daily data collection system and anecdotal notes.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards of the BACB.
  • Adhere to all Puzzle Builders, LLC company policy.
  • Perform one to one therapy and supervise cases (depending on experience) in the client’s homes, schools, and out in the community, as needed.
  • Assist or conduct FAI, VBMAPP and Preference Assessments and other evaluations to clients.
  • Maintain all professional certifications, documents, and identifiers up-to-date & on-file to maintain good standing with PBBT.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimal of a Bachelor’s degree (BCaBA) or Master’s degree (BCBA).
  • Be legally able to work in the United States.
  • At least 2 years of prior experience with special needs children in therapeutic setting.
  • Knowledge of basic computing skills.
  • Must have time management skills and can work independently.
  • Must have active BCaBA or BCBA certification and be in good standing with BACB.
  • Have afternoon/evening availability (3-8pm).
  • Reliable transportation and willing to travel (20-30 miles).
  • Attend PBBT events including meetings, trainings, etc.
  • Minimal three 3-month commitment.
